Braun Strowman: Teaming With Nicholas Was A Special Moment, Now He’s 6’5”

Braun Strowman says if you know WWE, you understand why Nicholas was his tag team partner.

Former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman recently appeared on Sportskeeda’s WrestleBinge, where he spoke about his infamous tag team title win with Nicholas at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans.

There, Braun Strowman was tasked with finding a tag team partner to challenge The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro) for the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship. Strowman proceeded to scour the live audience, selecting Nicholas (son of WWE referee John Cone) as his partner for the title match. At that time, Nicholas was in the fourth grade, but now, he is a six-foot-five 10th grader.

“Nicholas is like six-five now,” Braun Strowman said. “The cool thing is, I just saw one of the sites that does all our action figures and stuff, Ringside Collectibles or something like that, there’s a Nicholas action figure coming out.* So I’m really excited for that and stuff like that.

“It’s neat to see. Imagine being that kid and going back to school that Monday after that happened. What an unbelievable experience. It was really fun doing that. Some people didn’t like it because the violence wasn’t there. But if you understand the whole message and the premise of what we do is WWE, that is WWE. It was a special moment.”

*The Nicholas action figure is the Build-A-Figure included in the WWE Elite WrestleMania 40 wave of figures. If you buy all four figures, you can complete the Nicholas figure.
