AEW Dynamite Viewership Decreases On 12/20, Demo Also Drops

AEW Dynamite viewership decreased on December 20.

According to Wrestlenomics, 782,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.26 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is down from last week’s episode when 845,000 viewers tuned in last week. The demo also dropped from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.30 rating in the same demographic.

What happened on AEW Dynamite this week?

This week’s show kicked off with Swerve Strickland defeating RUSH in a Gold League match of the Continental Classic.

Elsewhere on the show, Roderick Strong picked up a win over Komander. After the match, Strong once again pleaded his case to Samoa Joe that MJF is the Devil.

In the women’s division, Riho defeated Saraya to earn a shot at AEW Women’s World Champion Timeless Toni Storm at World’s End.

In the main event of the show, Jay White defeated Jon Moxley in a Gold League match of the Continental Classic. The Gold League finals next week will now be a three-way between White, Moxley, and Strickland.
