Eddie Kingston looks back on saying “Redeem Deez Nuts” on AEW television.
In September 2021, Eddie Kingston sparked plenty of buzz when he told TNT Champion Miro to “Redeem Deez Nuts” in a promo ahead of their match at AEW All Out. The line got over, and AEW put it on a shirt.
Speaking with Gabby LaSpisa on Gabby AF, Eddie Kingston’s memorable “Deez Nuts” promo came up in the conversation.
“I said that just because I had nothing else to say,” Eddie Kingston said. “That was my last thing on my mind. I was like, I can’t curse on national television, that’s what I kept thinking. I wanted to be, ‘F*ck you, Miro, you stupid motherf**ker.’ But I could say that on TBS or TNT. So I was like, ‘Ah, deez nuts.’ [Laughs]”
