AEW Dynamite Viewership Decreases On 2/28, Demo Stays Even

AEW Dynamite saw a slight decrease in viewership on February 28.

According to Wrestlenomics, 822,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, drawing a 0.29 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is slightly down from last week’s episode, when 828,000 viewers tuned in. The demo was even from last week‘s episode, which also drew a 0.29 rating in the same demographic.

What happened on AEW Dynamite this week?

This week’s show kicked off with Hangman Page teasing that he wasn’t cleared to compete at AEW Revolution. This brought out Swerve Strickland and Samoa Joe. Page attacked Hangman from behind with his crutch to reveal he was good to go and that the match was still on.

Elsewhere on the show, Orange Cassidy defeated Nick Wayne in an open challenge match for the AEW International Championship.

In women’s action, Skye Blue defeated Kris Statlander in what many called an upset victory for Blue.

In the closing segment of the show, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson attacked Darby Allin and Ric Flair. This brought out The Icon Sting, who descended from the rafters one more time to fight off The Young Bucks.
