Sting Says He’s Still On Cloud Nine After AEW Revolution, Thanks Tony Khan

Sting is still riding high in the aftermath of AEW Revolution.

Sting went out on top, as he scored the win in his last match. At AEW Revolution on March 3, he and Darby Allin defeated The Young Bucks to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

In a tweet on March 10, Sting said that he was still on cloud nine from Revolution. He said that it would not have been possible without Tony Khan. “The Icon” thanked the AEW CEO for the kast three years, his friendship, and for everything.

In another tweet, Sting called Darby Allin the best tag team partner he ever had and thanked the former TNT Champion.

Sting was previously forced to retire due to an injury in 2016. He came to AEW at the end of AEW, and he went 29-0 during his time with the company. He and Darby Allin had a brief run with the tag titles heading into AEW Revolution, as they defeated Ricky Starks and Big Bill to win the gold on the February 7 episode of AEW Dynamite. After they retained the gold at AEW Revolution, Khan announced that the titles had been vacated due to the legend’s retirement.
