AEW Rampage Results (3/29/24): Dustin Rhodes, Roderick Strong, More In Action

All Elite Wrestling delivered an action-packed show with the March 29 episode of AEW Rampage.

Tonight, Dustin Rhodes will take part in a match against The Butcher, Mariah May will take on Nikita in a singles bout, and reigning AEW International Champion Roderick Strong will take on Daddy Magic in an AEW International Championship Eliminator Match.

The results are as follows:

Match 1: Dustin Rhodes defeats The Butcher via pinfall

Rhodes came out on top in a match that saw the superstar turn back the clock a bit. The match came to an end after Rhodes hit a snap powerslam on Butcher, and then concluded the match with a Cross Rhodes and Final Testament for the win.

Segment: Jay White

Jay White and The Gunns had a family dinner at Daddy Ass’ house, and promptly trashed everything they could. Jay White began talking trash about The Acclaimed, and just as he was about to damage more stuff with a bat, Daddy Ass arrived home. The camera fell to the ground in a scuffle, and then the segment ended.

Match 2: Deonna Purrazzo defeats Rose via submission

Purrazzo walked out on top by forcing Rose to tap out, ending a rather uneventful match quickly that saw Deonna dominate with a flurry of attacks early on.

Match 3: Mariah May defeats Nikita via pinfall

This one was pretty quick, and ended with May walking out on top and extending her record in the women’s division to 6-0 after headbutting Nikita and following it up with her finisher.

Backstage segment: Zak Knight

Knight is interviewed backstage and said that he’s already in Angelo Parker’s head. Parker then ambushed him from behind and kickstarted a massive brawl, that ended with Parker taking a pipe away from Knight and running off.

Ruby Soho found Parker and said she was upset with him for trying to look for a fight, and kissed him and said she couldn’t be around for it.

Match 4: Roderick Strong defeats Daddy Magic via pinfall

The AEW International Championship Eliminator Tournament continued with a big win for the reigning champion. Things came to an end after The Undisputed Kingdom’s continued distraction efforts eventually paid off, and Matt Taven Mike Bennett distracting Daddy Magic enough to let Strong hit a running knee on him for the pin and win.

The Undisputed Kingdom continued to attack Magic after the bell, and eventually Trent Beretta and Orange Cassidy came down for the save. However, The Young Bucks snuck into the ring once things seemed clear and then hit low blows on the group, ending the night by hitting double EVP Triggers on them.
