Natalya Dodges Maxxine Dupri’s Request To Train At The Dungeon

In Natalya we trust? Maybe not in Maxxine Dupri‘s case.

For weeks, Maxxine Dupri has called upon the 25-year veteran Natalya for guidance as she looks to improve her in-ring work. Most recently, Dupri inquired about training at the Dungeon 2.0, which is owned and run by Natalya and her husband, TJ Wilson, who also serves as a producer for WWE. Unfortunately for Dupri, that idea didn’t seem to go over well with Natalya or her former student, Liv Morgan.

In a new WWE Raw exclusive, Dupri asserted that she wanted to be taken seriously in the ring, rather than being doubted. As such, she raised interest in training with Natalya at The Dungeon 2.0 in Florida, which she believes could elevate her skills to the next level. In response, Natalya questioned Dupri’s pitch and claimed that her training facility had reached its maximum capacity.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Liv Morgan then offered up a different perspective on Dupri’s idea. “I’m sure that training Maxxine is going to be a complete waste of your time, Nattie,” said Morgan. “Take it from me, no one in this business respected me, but what did I do? I shut them up, and I made them. So here’s some advice from someone who knows. Quit, because you are no Liv Morgan, sweetie.”

In-ring wise, Dupri has about two years of pro experience. Her official debut came in a mixed tag match in July 2023. Since then, Dupri’s initial on-screen trainer Chad Gable has turned on her, Otis, and Akira Tozawa in favor of Ivy Nile and The Creed Brothers. Together, Gable, Nile, and The Creed Brothers are known as American Made.
