WWE NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne appeared on TNA IMPACT and hinted at a possible champion vs. champion match.
This happened right after the battle royal to decide the number one contender for the TNA Knockouts Championship. In the final moments, Indi Hartwell and Tasha Slamovich stood on the ring apron. Suddenly, Ash By Elegance showed up from the other side of the ring.
Ash By Elegance hadn’t been eliminated, she charged at both Hartwell and Slamovich, knocking them off the apron, winning the match. Replays showed that Ash wasn’t eliminated earlier, since she had actually slipped under the ropes. As Ash celebrated in the ring, TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich came out and stared her down.
Before Masha could say or do anything, NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne shocked everyone as she walked out and joined the fray. All three women were seen staring each other down.
Could this confrontation lead to an NXT champion vs. TNA champion match down the line? Only time will tell. With Slamovich set to defend her title against Killer Kelly next week, the TNA Knockouts Division is heating up.
Ash By Elegance has staked her claim as the next challenger. Now, with WWE NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne entering the mix, it’ll be interesting to see what happens next.
