After once again appearing alongside Donald Trump at the White House this week, Triple H tries to distance himself from the world of politics.
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H was a recent guest on The Sports Agents. While discussing his friendship with current President Donald Trump, Hunter claims his world isn’t a political one, as he lives in the world of entertainment.
“As you move through life, you continue to learn,” Triple H said. “I think that over time, everybody learns. He is one of the most intuitive people, I think, that I’ve met. Also, when he has a plan and he knows that it’s correct, he will stick to that. I think over time, many times that’s proven to be correct, but I think he admits when it’s wrong. Also, my world is not a political world. My world is a world of entertainment.
“I’ve always enjoyed my interactions with him when he’s been here, and he’s in our Hall of Fame. So my hat’s off to him. I can only imagine, as people ask me about the stresses and the criticisms and the negativities around leading WWE and the creative, I can only imagine what it is to be a world leader in this day and age. So my hat’s off to anybody in this arena, whether it’s the Mayor of London, the President of the United States, or anybody in between. God bless them, and the job they do.” [H/T: Fightful]
