Becky Lynch Takes Epic Shot At Nikki Bella’s Relationship With John Cena

Becky Lynch delivered a blow that had everyone talking after WWE RAW.

This week’s episode of RAW took place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, just one night removed from SummerSlam. Becky Lynch successfully defended her title against Lyra Valkyria, which guaranteed Lyra couldn’t challenge her for the title anymore.

Lynch appeared on RAW, with WWE teasing fans would find out what’s next for her as the Intercontinental Champion. That answer came quickly in the form of Nikki Bella, who called Lynch a disappointment in the women’s division. The pair traded digs back and forth, then Lynch delivered a verbal jab that had the audience saying, ‘Holy shit’ in response.

“Do not talk about me and my hot husband,” Becky Lynch said to Nikki. “Me and my hot husband are the greatest wrestling couple of all time. But wait a minute, at one point, that would have been you and your… [Becky Lynch feigns shock, with the punchline being that Nikki and John Cena broke up / didn’t get married].

“Oh wait, you can’t see him anymore!” Lynch added.

Becky Lynch has two more challengers in waiting

The segment ended with Nikki asking for a title shot. Lynch simply sucker punched the two-time Divas Champion and left, but it looks like Lynch met her next challenger and WWE will likely make a match official soon.

Before we get to Becky vs. Nikki, however, fans will see “The Man” in action on RAW next week. Natalya, Maxxine Dupri and Tozawa approached Becky backstage about the in-ring incident. Nattie called out Becky for her behavior, but Becky said they were cowards for teaming up on her. Nattie then challenged her to a match on next week’s episode of RAW, which Lynch accepted.

Nattie said she would see her next week, but Lynch informed her that the match is with Maxxine, not her. “See you next week, Sweet Cheeks!” Lynch said, mockingly blowing a kiss to Maxxine on the way out.
