AEW Dynamite saw a decrease in viewership on August 13.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, 690,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.17 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is down from last week’s episode, when 711,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also slightly dropped from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.18 rating in the same demographic.

Viewership for Wednesday’s show on MAX is unknown at this time. However, we do know that Dynamite placed first in its time slot and for the day on cable.
What happened on AEW Dynamite this week?
This week’s show kicked off with a face-to-face promo between Hangman Page and MJF, which led to these two competing in the main event of Forbidden Door for the AEW World Championship.
Jon Moxley defeated Kevin Knight in singles action. The Death Riders got into it with Darby Allin after the match, which led to the return of Will Ospreay.
In women’s action, Alex Windsor, Queen Aminata, and Willow Nightingale defeated Mercedes Mone, Skye Blue, and Thekla.
In the main event of the evening, The Opps defeated LFI as Samoa Joe made his in-ring return to the company for the first time since All In: Texas.
