Did you know Ricochet is bald? Well, you’re about to hear about it even more.
AEW fans have been mocking Ricochet for being follically challenged for months. It’s been a source of humor. Now, Ricochet might be making it a source of income, at least from a trademark standpoint.
On August 25, Ricochet (Trevor Mann) applied to trademark the word “bald.” The application says the AEW star wants to use it for goods and services in the following manner:
“Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestler and sports entertainer in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.”
Ricochet has had a great year in AEW
The trademark was filed a year to the day since Ricochet arrived in AEW. Since then, he has enjoyed feuds with Konosuke Takeshita and Swerve Strickland, who he stabbed with a pair of scissors to signify his official heel turn.
Since then, the self-proclaimed “Lightskin Kingpin” has had several high-profile matches in the promotion so far. This includes a standout bout with Kenny Omega and Speedball Mike Bailey at AEW Dynasty. His most recent match saw Ricohet and Gates Of Agony (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona) defeat JetSpeed (Kevin Knight and Bailey) and Michael Oku at Forbidden Door 2025.
