Stephanie Vaquer is ready for whoever and whatever may lie ahead.
Initially, Stephanie Vaquer was scheduled to challenge Naomi for the WWE Women’s World Championship at WWE Clash In Paris on August 31. Due to Naomi’s recent pregnancy announcement, however, the WWE Women’s World title is now vacated. As a result, the Clash In Paris title match is now off the table.
Fortunately for Vaquer, she still has a guaranteed title shot. However, that match will be at a later date against an opponent determined by WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce. Regardless of who it is, Vaquer feels confident in the outcome.
“It doesn’t matter where, it doesn’t matter who…it doesn’t matter how much it costs, I will make it happen and I will be champion,” Vaquer wrote on X. “The time has come for the WWE Championship to belong to a Latin woman.”

According to Pearce, he already had a championship match opponent in mind for Vaquer, but needed a week to sort out the finer details. Vaquer earned her original opportunity by winning the WWE Evolution Battle Royal, outlasting the likes of Nia Jax, Nikki Bella, Lash Legend, and others. The same night, Naomi successfully cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase on IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley, pinning the former, to claim the Women’s World Championship.
