Christopher Daniels once appeared in a promo with the Big Boss Man.
The rare promo aired in the late 1990s, featuring a young Christopher Daniels as an unnamed extra in a segment with Big Boss Man. It was aired on WWE Shotgun Saturday Night, where Big Boss Man talked about his upcoming non-sanctioned street fight in New York City against Stone Cold Steve Austin.
In the backstage segment, Big Boss Man stood at a security checkpoint. He is seen instructing the guards to check every person entering the arena. He explained that he was ready to stop Austin at any point, anywhere in the arena, and take him out.
As Christopher Daniels walked by with a cigar in his mouth. Big Boss Man stopped him, scolded him for smoking in the building. He grabbed him by the throat, and threw him out of the arena for violating the no-smoking rule.
The promo aired on January 30, 1999, on WWE Shotgun Saturday Night. Recently, Daniels shared insight about the segment when a fan posted promo on X, noting that he had never smoked a cigar in his life at that point. He wrote, “I had never smoked a cigar at that point in my life. I’m sure it wasn’t obvious at all.”
