McKenzie Mitchell reveals why she considers Seth Rollins’ WWE SummerSlam appearance a career highlight for her.
Seth Rollins pulled off the swerve of the century at SummerSlam 2025. The Visionary faked a knee injury only to cash in his Money in the Bank contract on CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship at the Biggest Party of the Summer.
This marked Rollins’ second successful Money in the Bank cash-in, as he had previously cashed in the contract during the main event of WrestleMania 31, turning the Brock Lesnar versus Roman Reigns match into a triple threat.
During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, former WWE NXT backstage correspondent McKenzie Mitchell revealed that Seth Rollins wore a necklace she had designed at SummerSlam—something she had no clue was going to happen.
“You’re seeing my designs on the likes of Trick Williams, Fallon Henley, Roxanne Perez, Seth Rollins,” she said. The moment at SummerSlam — I had no idea — him and then you see the briefcase, and you see this giant necklace piece on it—and it was a surprise to me.
“That is a career highlight in my life, to be like, ‘Wow, so many people saw that moment. That is my design. At WrestleMania this past year, I sent him a DM and I said, ‘Listen, could I make you a custom piece?’ And he’s like, ‘Yeah, absolutely.’

“And I said, ‘Do you have any creative design, do you have any thought behind it?’ He’s like, ‘McKenzie, I trust you, whatever you wanna make, I will absolutely wear it.’ So we started with his original gold one that’s like a 20-inch, and then we made a longer 24-inch, so we just debuted the matte black a couple of weeks ago.
“So he actually had told my husband (Vic Joseph), he’s like, ‘This has become my new identity, and I never really thought that a necklace and an accessory would have paired so well with my career, but here we are.'”
Seth Rollins is scheduled to face Cody Rhodes in a Champion versus Champion match at WWE Crown Jewel: Perth. WrestleZone will have full coverage of the PLE as it airs on October 11.
