Raja Jackson has found himself at the center of controversy following an assault on Stuart Smith, AKA Syko Stu. The son of UFC legend Rampage Jackson is now set to face felony battery charges for his actions.
In August 2025, Raja Jackson attacked Syko Stu at a KnokX Pro Wrestling event. He repeatedly smashed his head more than 20 times, rendering him unconscious. This incident drew criticism for Raja, and a criminal complaint was filed against him.
Last month, the Los Angeles police arrested Raja Jackson on suspicion of felony assault. However, he was later released on $50,000 bail. According to the Los Angeles Times, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office confirmed that the son of the UFC legend will face felony battery charges for causing bodily injury to Stuart Smith.
Additionally, he will be charged with misdemeanor battery charges related to an incident on August 23 at the KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy event in Sun Valley. The Prosecutors will also seek a sentence enhancement, citing Raja Jackson’s intent to inflict serious bodily harm to Syko Stu.
Moreover, the District Attorney’s office stated that a criminal complaint is expected to be filed on Tuesday. Syko Stu lost several teeth and a laceration to his lip in this attack, in addition to a fracture and trauma to his upper and lower jaw. He was released from the hospital and continues to recover from his injuries at home.
