TNA Wrestling has a big issue right now, as several of its top stars will have their contracts expire over the next couple of months.
In recent weeks, we have learned that the contracts of several top names like The Hardys, Cedric Alexander, The IInspiration, and Mike Santana’s TNA deals are all set to expire before the year is over. And now we can add yet another name to that list.
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), former X-Division Champion Mustafa Ali will also see his TNA contract expire by the end of the year. As of now, Sapp reports that Ali is currently keeping his options open as it pertains to his next move.
Earlier this month, during WWE NXT Showdown, Ali stole the show alongside Ethan Page as the two men competed for the NXT North American Championship. It’s unknown if WWE would be interested in Ali returning to the company. However, Sapp notes that Shawn Michaels has long been an advocate of the former WWE Superstar.
