A new report has disputed the attendance figures announced by TNA Wrestling for their Bound For Glory event in October.
TNA brought their biggest event of the year to Lowell’s Tsongas Center in Massachusetts on October 12. During the show, Chris Bey — who has been sidelined with an injury — appeared to announce the attendance figures.
According to the announcement, Bound For Glory drew 7,794 fans, marking a new North American attendance record for TNA.
However, according to Wrestlenomics, documents released by the University of Massachusetts show different numbers. Per the report, citing the venue operator Oak View Group, TNA Bound For Glory sold 5,554 tickets.
“The turnstile count — or number of tickets recorded as used — was 6,137. The same report called the event a ‘great success’ and noted that food and beverage sales ranked among the highest in the arena’s history.”
While the report disputed the actual number of tickets sold, it confirmed TNA’s announcement that Bound For Glory broke the attendance record previously set by Slammiversary on July 20, 2025.
TNA VP of Communications and Public Relations Ross Forman told Wrestlenomnics that the announced crowd “was verified by the venue management team at the Tsongas Center.” Additionally, Forman shared how TNA reached the announced attendance of 7,794, sharing that the number included “many seats and standing room only occupied by TNA credentialed guests, media, staff, VIPs, and other groups that brought the total attendance to 7,794.”
Both Forman and Oak View Group District General Manager Keith Vaske stated that Bound For Glory set a venue record.
TNA Wrestling is all set to resume their television taping with a live episode of iMPACT this Thursday at Orlando’s Full Sail University. WrestleZone will have complete coverage of the show as it airs on November 13.
