WWE NXT Card:
- Women’s Iron Survivor Summit
- DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars & Osiris Griffin) vs. Je’Von Evans, Myles Borne, Leon Slater, and Joe Hendry
WWE NXT Results:
Women’s Iron Survivor Summit
NXT GM Ava kicks off the proceedings. The Women’s Iron Survivor Competitors are in the ring are Sol Ruca, Kelani Jordan, Lola Vice, Jordynne Grace, and Evolve Champion Kendal Grey. Everyone goes back and forth about why they should win. Jordan gets booed out of the building as soon as she tries to speak. Fatal Influence interrupts. NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne says they are all fighting to lose to her. In the ring, Jordan pushes Grace. A huge brawl breaks out. Fatal influence gets involved.
Grade: C
They do this segment every year before Iron Survivor. It’s never good. Everyone just bickers, and it ends in a brawl. It doesn’t do anything to build up to the match.
Arianna Grace w/Stacks vs. Thea Hail w/Joe Hendry
Grace takes control after a distraction from Stacks. Hail eventually gets the win with the Kimura.
Winner- Thea Hail
Grade: C+
Fun but quick match. Not much to it, but an actual feud between these four could be fun.
Tavion Heights vs. Josh Briggs
Heights and Briggs brawl on the ramp before the match starts. Briggs is in control early after a nasty chokeslam. After a bit of back and forth, the fight spills out of the ring. Heights lifts Briggs and drives him through the barricade! Briggs grabs his chain to use as a weapon. Heights knocks it out of Briggs’ hand.
As the referee is getting rid of the chain, Heights lands his Belly-to-Belly finish. Briggs manages to get his foot on the bottom rope. While Heights argues with the referee, Briggs boots Heights, lands a lariat, and gets the pinfall.
Winner- Josh Briggs
Grade: B-
Not sure why the crowd poops on Briggs. The big guy is solid in the ring. Still needs to work on the personality side of things, but he consitantly has good matches. Heights is coming along as well. The all-American Olympian thing doesn’t have legs, and they need to pivot if he’s going to be successful.
Culling
Izzi Dame is in the ring with Shawn Spears and Nico Vance. Dame proclaims Tatum Paxley only became NXT Women’s Champion because Dame allowed it. The crowd boos as Dame says she didn’t betray Paxley. Dame corrected a mistake. The crowd chants for Paxley. Dame goes on and on about what she did for Paxley.

Dame wants a one-on-one match against Paxley. She has one final lesson for Paxley. Paxlety appears on the ‘tron. Paxley says they were great together, and Dame ruined it. Dame tells Paxley to come to the ring and do something about it. Paxley says she is scared because at Deadline, she’s going to have to make Dame feel all of her pain. Paxley walks off.
Grade: C+
Paxley was phenomenal here. Dame seemingly got lost after being thrown off by the crowd’s chants, which happens, and this writer won’t fault Dame for it, but it’s hard to rate this segment any higher because of it.
Fatal Influence vs. Lola Vice, Sol Ruca, and Evolve Women’s Champion Kendal Grey
As soon as the bell rings, everyone brawls, leading to a bunch of dives. Ruca is the only one left standing after taking out the field with a triangle moonsault to the floor. Grey gets isolated, but manages to suplex each member of Fatal Influence all over the ring. Fatal Influence takes control after a cheap shot from Henley. After the break, Ruca avoids Jayne’s Rolling Encore and hits the Sol Snatcher for the win.
Winners- Lola Vice, Sol Ruca, and Kendal Grey
After the match, Vice pulls Ruca out of the way as Zaria charges in out of nowhere with a spear. Zaria cuts Grey in half in the process. Zaria and Ruca argue.
Grade: B
Best match so far tonight. Everyone was given a moment to shine here, especially Grey, who continues to impress. Grey highly technical style is a breath of fresh air on NXT. The Zaria thing at the end of the match was odd. Was that a turn? If so, why wasn’t she allowed to hit Ruca here.
Chase U vs. OTM
Chase U starts off hot, but Price and Nima eventually hit their finish for the win.
Winners- OTM
Grade: C+
Standard stuff here. Price and Nima gave the Chase U boys a lot of offense here, but this one was inevitable.
DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars & Osiris Griffin) vs. Je’Von Evans, Myles Borne, Leon Slater, and Joe Hendry
If DarkState gets the win, Lennox can pick his entry number in the Iron Survivor. If a memeber of the other team gets the pinfall, they get to pick their entry number in the Iron Survivor. DarkState controls much of the match, getting an opportunity to work over each of their opponents.
Hendry eventually manages to tag in Evans, who dives over the top and clotheslines Shugars over the commentary desk. Evans lands another dive. Evans lands a super OG Cutter on Osirus. DarkState breaks up the pin. Borne gets a blind tag. Slater crushes Osirus with the Swanton 450. Borne hits Borne Again for the win.
Winners- Je’Von Evans, Myles Borne, Leon Slater, and Joe Hendry
Grade: B
Fun match. Evans is going to be a huge star, and it just shows every time he’s on the screen. This was no different.
WWE NXT Review:
Tonight’s show wasn’t anywhere near as much of a drag as NXT has been over the past few weeks. Tonight, we got solid in-ring action in an underabuncance of talky-talky segments. All in all, a good night. The main event was an exciting affair where Je’Von Evans stole the show, even though Myles Borne stole the pinfall.
The NXT Championship contract signing happened backstage, which this writer doesn’t mind, but the note that the match will open the show is interesting. There may be some shenanigans afoot when it comes to whoever loses that title match. Could they be added to the Iron Survivor Match?
