TNA President Carlos Silva has issued an official statement regarding the company’s new media rights deal with AMC.
This morning, TNA Wrestling announced a new media rights deal for iMPACT starting in 2026 with AMC Networks. The show will remain on Thursday nights, but move from the 8 to 10 PM slot to the 9 to 11 PM slot instead.
The first episode of TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! on AMC will take place on January 15, 2026, and will air live from the Curtis Culwell Center in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
TNA President Carlos Silva issued the following statement to WrestleZone this evening regarding the company’s “milestone” TV deal with AMC:
“Today is a milestone day for TNA Wrestling and truly the next step in our story: Thursday Night iMPACT! will air on AMC, starting January 15, 2026, originating from the Curtis Culwell Center in Dallas, Texas. Thanks to all the TNA fans, our staff and dedicated athletes in the ring, plus the Anthem board and investors, as well as our sponsors and partners. 2025 was record breaking …. 2026 will be even bigger on AMC!”
The partnership between TNA and WWE NXT is expected to continue
Following this morning’s announcement, Sport Business Insider’s Blake Avignon reported that TNA’s deal with AMC had resulted in WWE terminating its existing partnership with the company in the next 60 days.
It didn’t take long for this report to be debunked, however, as multiple outlets, including PWInsider, Sports Illustrated, and Fightful Select, disputed these claims after speaking with people in both WWE and TNA.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information as it becomes available.
