Donald Trump Cabinet Members Attend WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

Donald Trump was not at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, D.C., but two high-ranking members of his cabinet were.

President Trump was rumored to be planning to attend John Cena’s retirement match at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Trump and former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon were two of the high-profile names expected to be at the event, although their respective plans were never confirmed.

Trump attended Saturday’s Army vs. Navy college football game in Baltimore, where he performed the ceremonial coin toss. Despite being in close proximity, he never made it to the WWE event. Despite Trump’s absence, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his wife, actress Cheryl Hines, were spotted at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. Fan photos show RFK Jr. and Hines were seated on the floor level near where the wrestlers’ section was at ringside. In addition, PWInsider.com is reporting that Linda McMahon was also in attendance.

Linda McMahon is the current Secretary of Education. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is the current Secretary of Health and Human Services. He is also known as an influential environmentalist and a member of the famed Kennedy political family.

Earlier this year, Kennedy and Hines’s niece, Zoe, had a tryout with WWE. Zoe is the daughter of Rebecca Hines, who is Cheryl’s sister. Zoe Hines played softball for Boston College, and was mentioned on a list of attendees at a tryout during SummerSlam weekend in New Jersey. That tryout also included names like LJ Clearly, “Big Trouble” Ben Bishop, and Vert Vixen.
