WWE NXT Star Wore Jorts To Prove John Cena Fandom

This WWE NXT talent showed up to her school in jorts to show her admiration for John Cena.

John Cena may have retired from in-ring competition, but his influence continues to be celebrated by fans and peers alike.

The GOAT hung up his boots following his final match against Gunther at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. Post-match, Cena shared a heartfelt moment with CM Punk and Cody Rhodes, both of whom placed their world titles on John’s shoulders as a massive show of respect.

The match itself, however, wasn’t without controversy, with the finish in particular criticized by fans on social media. While WWE personalities such as CJ Perry defended Cena tapping out, AEW executive Jeff Jarrett called it the “single dumbest finish in the history of our business.”

WWE NXT star reflects on school memory involving John Cena

Amid the polarizing reaction to John Cena’s last match, WWE NXT competitor Jordynne Grace took to social media to share a fond memory.

The former TNA Knockouts World Champion posted a picture of herself wearing Cena’s signature jorts and performing D-Generation X’s infamous taunt at school.

Explaining the picture, Grace wrote: “Facebook reminded me today that 14 years ago I was so deep into my Cena standom that I wore jorts to school daily (that I cut myself).”
