Je’Von Evans has quickly become a fan-favorite WWE Superstar, and even has fans in WWE rooting for him.
In a recent interview with Rock and Co. (via Fightful), WWE star Ethan Page named Evans as his favorite WWE star. As for why, though, Page didn’t have the normal reason one might think.
“Do I have to like them as a person or just wrestler? Just wrestler? Je’Von Evans,” said Page. “Especially when he gets his butt kicked. That’s the best part. Yeah, that’s when he’s most bouncy to me.”
Evans and Page are no strangers to one another in the ring. The pair have had a long feud brewing ever since Page made his WWE debut in NXT. The pair have also met in a number of matches, with each going back and forth with each other. Things culminated in a big New York City Street Fight at NXT Roadblock, a match that Page came out on top in.
Since then, Evans has begun appearing on the main roster of WWE. As for Page, he remains at NXT and is currently the NXT North American Champion and one-half of the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship along with Chelsea Green.
