Chelsea Green Reflects On Her Match Against Penta

You might not realize that Chelsea Green went one-on-one against fellow WWE star Penta in 2018, and recently opened up about the moment in her career.

Speaking to Chris Van Vliet in a recent interview, Green’s match against Penta was brought up. In 2018, the WWE stars faced off in a rare intergender match for Lucha Underground. The match ended with Penta coming out on top, but Green earned praise for appearing in the match.

Green said appearing in the match was the best decision she’s ever made, and joked that the match was mainly just Penta carrying the pair of them.

“The best decision I ever made was that match. Because now, when someone says I suck at wrestling, someone else says, ‘But did you see the Penta match?’ And I’m like, yeah, yeah, that one match in 2018. He literally wrestled himself. Watch it again. He literally wrestled himself. But I digress. He is amazing, and so am I.”

Currently, Green is enjoying another successful run in WWE and still appears in Lucha content as well. She is currently one-half of the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions alongside Ethan Page. She’s also the current WWE Women’s United States Champion.
