Je’Von Evans Gets Candid About WWE Main Roster Call Up

Je’Von Evans believes his WWE main roster call-up could be in the works.

During a recent appearance on Going Ringside, Je’Von Evans was asked about a potential timeline for his full-time move to the WWE main roster.

“I think that it could be in the works,” he teased. “But, that’s up to them. That’s up to them whenever they feel like I’m ready. I’m just there whenever they need me.” [H/T: Fightful]

Evans has been appearing on WWE RAW and SmackDown over the past couple of months. He made his SmackDown debut earlier this year, teaming up with Rey Fenix against Los Garza (Angel and Berto). His Monday Night RAW debut came against Gunther during The Last Time Is Now Tournament.

Is Je’Von Evans a free agent on the WWE roster?

Earlier this week on WWE RAW, Je’Von Evans spoke with General Manager Adam Pearce ahead of his match against Rayo Americano. Pearce informed Evans that he wanted to discuss business with him following the match.

Commentary later revealed that Evans is now a “free agent” in WWE and will be looking to sign with either RAW or SmackDown in the coming weeks.

Evans is not the only WWE NXT superstar eyeing a move to the main roster. Former TNA World Champion Trick Williams appeared on SmackDown last Friday to discuss his main roster future with General Manager Nick Aldis. He also confronted Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes during the segment.
