Will Ospreay has offered an update on his injury status and what he plans to do when he returns to the squared circle.
All Elite Wrestling‘s Will Ospreay made a surprise appearance at New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s New Year Dash. During his appearance, Ospreay spoke openly about his current injury status and his plans to not only return to AEW, but New Japan as well.
“I can’t come back right now. I still need to recover,” Will Ospreay said. “It’s going to take me a long time, but I’m getting closer and closer. I’m getting better and better — and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. When I’m good to go, I’m going to handle some business in AEW. I’m going to come back to New Japan Pro Wrestling.”
Backstage following the event, Ospreay clarified his comments, making it known that while AEW is his home, he intends to work some matches in New Japan as well.
“That’s my main stage, where I fight every week,” Will Ospreay said about AEW. “But I want to come back. Whether it’s two shows a year, three, or five. I’m determined to make it happen.” [H/T: F4WOnline]
