CM Punk Injury Rumor Killer

CM Punk seems to be doing fine.

According to a recent report from F4WOnline.com‘s Bryan Alvarez, a WWE Superstar was placed into concussion protocol after this week’s episode of WWE RAW on Netflix. The report was vague, as it didn’t state who that wrestler was. Instead, Alvarez claimed that it was not about Bron Breakker, who landed on his head after a rough-looking Frankensteiner attempt.

Many people, including Alvarez, speculated that it could have been Punk, who also took a hard, face-first fall during the match with Breakker.

According to PWInsider.com‘s Mike Johnson, however, claims of CM Punk being in WWE’s concussion protocol are untrue. Johnson says WWE sources relayed that the story was “entirely incorrect.” Johnson went on to say that the story lacked merit, considering Punk did a media tour all day Tuesday, which was the last thing he would be doing if he were concussed.

Punk’s agent, Nick LoPiccolo, also seemingly shot down the accuracy of the initial report. LoPiccolo responded to a claim that Punk was concussed on Twitter/X, and pointed out the speculative nature of Alvarez’s report.

CM Punk spoke with several outlets on Tuesday, including addressing the Stranger Things finale controversy and the finish to John Cena’s final match. Despite not being seriously injured, Punk was sporting a bruise on his left ear during his media campaign.
