Jeff Hardy Reveals He’s Been Working For Months With A Serious Injury

Jeff Hardy revealed that he’s been working with a neck injury since October 2025.

Reigning TNA World Tag Team Champions Matt and Jeff Hardy were recent guests on The Budget Cut podcast. While discussing TNA’s upcoming AMC debut and their big title defense at Genesis, Jeff Hardy revealed that he’s been working with two bulging discs in his neck.

Jeff Hardy noted that he has been dealing with the injury since The Hardys lost the NXT Tag Team Championship to DarkState at NXT Halloween Havoc in October 2025.

“I’ve been dealing with an injury since we dropped the titles at NXT. I actually got two bulging discs on the left side of my neck,” Jeff Hardy said.

“It’s definitely better than it was at first, but we’ve been slower for two months now. Naturally, that’s a little stress creator for me, but I’m cleared.” [H/T F4WOnline.com]

Jeff Hardy and his brother Matt Hardy are gearing up for TNA’s AMC debut on January 15. They will team up with Elijah to take on Mustafa Ali, Jason Hotch, and John Skyler at the event. Hardy has also teased a new look for the show. After that, they’re set to defend their TNA World Tag Team Championship against The Righteous at Genesis on January 17.

Jeff Hardy Calls WWE Star His Best Singles Rival Ever

During his recent interview on the Direct Discussions Podcast, Jeff Hardy named late WWE legend Umaga as his best singles rival ever. Hardy reflected on his recent interactions with Umaga’s son, Zilla Fatu, before recalling his 2007 rivalry with The Samoan Bulldozer.

“I met (Zilla Fatu) when he was a newborn baby, it was crazy, now we’ve teamed with him several times, I’ve painted his face several times and we’ll definitely team with him again and have interaction with him.

“His dad was probably, in my singles career, my most favorite feud ever. We had such good chemistry and gelled so well together, the big guy vs. the smaller dude. Every time I’m in the ring with Zilla, it just makes me proud I’ve made it this far,” Jeff Hardy said. [H/T: Wrestletalk]
