TNA No Surrender Results

Ahead of the actual show, Brad Attitude and TW3 took on Sinner & Saint and beat them in a pre-show tag match. Frankie Kazarian also beat Alan Angels via submission in a pre-show match, and the Knockouts battle royal is kicking off the show.

Knockouts Battle Royal for future TNA Knockouts World Championship match

  • Jody Threat wins the battle royal, outlasting everyone and eliminating Tessa Blanchard last. The end saw Threat come up and toss Blanchard in a surprise move after Blanchard thought she had won by eliminating Mara Sadé. Now, it’ll be Threat’s turn to try and win the title.

Winner – Jody Threat

Grade: B+

A solid start to the show! Ending featured some funny moments, especially with Blanchard prematurely celebrating. Threat getting the title shot is a good move as well.

TNA International Championship: Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo (c) vs. Trey Miguel

  • Trey Miguel makes his way out to the ring with Teddy Swims, of all people, and then scores a big win. The match comes to an end after Miguel hits a DDT on the floor, follows it up with a dropkick, and then hits a Shell Shock and Lightning Spiral for the pin and win to become your new TNA International Champion.

Winner – Trey Miguel

Following the match, Miguel could be seen tearing up as he was given the belt.

Grade: B+

A pretty quick match, all things considered, but still a solid bout. Miguel is firmly back in the championship fold at TNA, it looks like.

AJ Francis makes a surprise appearance, trashing the fans and Jelly Roll, who is also at ringside. He’s now joining the commentary team for the rest of the show, it seems.

Mance Warner vs. Mike Jackson

  • Jackson being here is a shock due to his age, and unsurprisingly, he does not score a win here. Despite clearly being the crowd favorite and putting up some good spots, Jackson loses when Warner hits him with a brutal clothesline followed by a DDT.

Winner – Mance Warner

After the match, Warner helped up Jackson and the two shook hands. Steph De Lander also shook Jackson’s hand, and angered Francis in the process. Francis got in her face, blaming her for making Mance soft and then abruptly leaving the commentary area.

Grade: C+

Well…that was something! I guess the match was fun for watching Jackson get in the ring again and do some crazy stuff for a man of his age, but it was overall just a nothing burger of a match.

TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championships: The Elegance Brand (Heather by Elegance and M by Elegance) (c) vs. Indi Hartwell and Xia Brookside

  • The Elegance Brand walked in as champions, and they walk out as champions. The duo dominated here, and even though Xia and Indi put on a good show, the reigning champs came away with the win. The match ended after the duo hit the Nip and Tuck on Hartwell. Although Indi tried to get her foot on the ropes, Ash helped The Elegance Brand out by pushing it off, and the refs never saw it, so that was that.

Winner – The Elegance Brand

After the match, Mickie James comes running out, and Ash cuts her off. The two brawl before the champs are chased off by everyone.

Grade: B-

This was a good one! A chaotic and shenanigan-filled ending, and a bit of a predictable finish, but still a ton of fun.

BDE vs. Eric Young

  • Young scores a big win here, winning after hitting Young with a piledriver.

Winner – Eric Young

Grade: C

Although the match was fun to watch, it didn’t seem to hold a ton of stakes. Young came in looking to “steal” BDE’s social media followers for his cause, and…that was it, I guess.

TNA Knockouts World Championship: Léi Yǐng Lee (c) vs. Arianna Grace

  • In a stunning turn of events, Grace took this one. The end of the great back-and-forth match saw some chaos happen. Stacks, who was ringside, was hit by a big dive by Lee after trying to get involved in the match. This momentary distraction, though, allowed Grace to pull out the Cobra that she stole from her father and then hit Lee. She hit an inverted GTS right after and own the match.

Winner – Arianna Grace

Grade: A-

Our first really stand out match of the night, and even though Grace won thanks to some underhanded means, it was still an awesome match.

Backstage, BDE is sore, but Rich Swann is trying to play some video games. He tells BDE that it’s time for him to be “player two” for a bit, while Swann is player one. The two together as a team promises to be something special, should it happen.

The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) and The Hardys (Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy) vs. Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, Jason Hotch, John Skyler, and Special Agent 0)

  • The Hardys are here, but unfortunately, they don’t come away with a win. The chaotic match saw Order 4 score the victory. In the end, Ali threw Dutch out of the ring after most of it had been cleared. He then hit a massive 450 splash on Matt Hardy, and stole the win for the group after Jeff Hardy took Agent Zero with a big dive.

Winner – Order 4

After the match, a bunch of Elijah impersonators suddenly appear with a guitar case casket. Ali tries to put one of them in it, but then Elijah chases off Ali in a confusing moment.

Grade: A-

Sheesh, what another match! Obviously, with The Hardys in attendance, everyone stepped their game up, and the crowd was eating up every single spot. It was a fun match through and through.

Backstage, an irate Santino Morella is pounding on the door of Arianna Grace. Instead, he comes face-to-face with Daria Rae, and the two argue about who is really the authority.

Mike Santana and Leon Slater vs. Nic Nemeth and Eddie Edwards

  • This one was truly a chaotic match. Things went from bad to worse for Slater late, after Steve Maclin suddenly came out of nowhere from his “firing” and attacked Santana. Santana and Maclin then brawled through security and the crowd, and left Leon all alone with Nemeth and Edwards. Despite this, he kept up the match, and then the impossible happened. Moose’s music hit late, and he came out to make the save right after The System began ambushing Slater. Moose helped Slater get momentum back, and soon The System and Edwards and Moose were brawling through the back. This leaves Slater and Nemeth, and Slater finally ended things with a heel kick and Swanton 450 for the win.

Winner – Leon Slater and Mike Santana

Grade: A

Three straight incredible matches to close out the show. While this one was much more of a “event” match complete with so many appearances and surprises, it’s still hard to beat from an entertainment standpoint.

TNA No Surrender Review

All in all, this was a great show! It started off a bit slow and then quickly ramped up into standout match after standout match, the way a good pay-per-view should.
