WWE is reportedly in discussions regarding a potential return for Bad Bunny. If plans move forward, it may involve Logan Paul in a high-profile tag team match.
According to Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline, the WWE camp feels optimistic about bringing a match to fruition.
However, it would “likely be of the tag team variety and involving Logan Paul,” and “probably not a singles match and probably not at WrestleMania.”
The report follows weeks of speculation surrounding Bad Bunny’s WWE status. His Super Bowl halftime performance reignited mainstream attention and poured fuel to fire over a WWE return.
WWE had reportedly been in contact with his representatives well before the Super Bowl. They have attempted to gauge his interest in either wrestling or appearing at major April events in Las Vegas.
Bad Bunny and Logan Paul Match Idea “Floated Around”
Logan Paul recently added fuel to the discussion, stating that the idea of a match involving him and Bad Bunny “has been floated around.” A week earlier, Paul claimed such a bout could be the “biggest” wrestling match of all time.
While WrestleMania 42 remains WWE’s marquee April event, Alvarez’s report suggests that if a match materializes, it may not take place on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Instead, a future Premium Live Event could be more realistic.
Bad Bunny has wrestled multiple times for WWE, debuting at WrestleMania 37 in a tag match alongside Damian Priest. He later entered the 2022 Royal Rumble and headlined Backlash 2023 in Puerto Rico, defeating Priest in a San Juan Street Fight that received widespread praise.
With a reported tour break from early March to late May, scheduling may not be a stumbling block. Whether this potential crossover becomes reality remains to be seen, but if the “Worlds Collide” energy of Bunny and Paul ever hits the ring, it would certainly be more than just influencer heat — it would be box office buzz.
