The Undisputed WWE Championship picture for WrestleMania 42 is reportedly still a work in progress ahead of Elimination Chamber.
Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre’s road to WrestleMania 42 will become clearer this Saturday as six superstars compete inside the Elimination Chamber for the opportunity to face the Scottish Warrior for the title at the Show of Shows in April.
Cody Rhodes is currently feuding with Drew McIntyre over the championship. The American Nightmare is one of the competitors in the Elimination Chamber match and is expected to be involved in the picture for WrestleMania. However, WrestleVotes Radio (via Fightful Select) reports that Jacob Fatu has a lot of support within the WWE creative team to be in the title scenario.
The report also notes that several WWE departments are facing deadlines to prepare WrestleMania materials, and that there is panic in some of those departments about potentially falling behind in preparing those promotional materials.
Jacob Fatu is not in the Elimination Chamber match this weekend, and WWE would have to factor him in another way.
Jacob Fatu lost the triple threat qualifying match on the February 13 episode of SmackDown, after Drew McIntyre attacked him and took him out of the equation. So, there might be a good chance for the Samoan Werewolf to enter the WrestleMania 42 WWE Championship picture, irrespective of who emerges victorious in the Chamber. However, fans have to wait till this Saturday to find out how things unfold.
