WWE Accused Of Stealing New Shirt Design For Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan

WWE has a new Dominik Mysterio shirt that might look familiar… because the company produced the original almost 20 years ago.

WWE has a new LivDom shirt at the Elimination Chamber Superstore in Chicago. As of now, the shirt looks to only be available on site and has not been made available online yet. The design draws inspiration from the popular art style of the Grand Theft Auto video game series. The inspiration behind the design seemed clear, but many fans took to social media to accuse WWE of stealing the idea from another creator.

Another non-licensed shirt features the same GTA-style design, with four windows, each one featuring Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio-themed artwork.

WWE didn’t steal the design; it’s an homage to one they made already

WWE’s new shirt isn’t ripping off the bootleg shirt, however. It’s inspired by a shirt they created more than 20 years ago.

WWE’s new LivDom shirt is clearly an homage to another GTA shirt they created for Eddie Guerrero and Chyna. The original “License To Steal” shirt was produced by WWE ahead of WrestleMania 21 in 2005. If anything, the bootleg design was actually copying the WWE design.

Many fans were quick to point this out, showing that the new shirt was a reproduction of the Eddie shirt.

“How you say they have no shame when they own the design from 20yrs ago lmao it’s literally a re-rock of Eddie’s shirt,” one fan wrote on Twitter/X.

“This is a takeoff of their own Eddie Guerrero shirt which itself was a takeoff of Grand Theft Auto box art ?” another wrote.
