WWE NXT Results:
The NEW…!
The new NXT North American Champion, Myles Borne, stands in the ring while the crowd chants, “You deserve it!” Borne says he isn’t going to be like every other new champion. We all know his story. Instead of thanking the fans, Borne wants to thank his biggest hater, Ethan Page. Can you hear him now? Ethan Page interrupts and says he can hear Borne. Page wants a rematch. Borne agrees. Mr. Stone walks out and tries to calm this down. Page says Borne agreed, so he wants to go. Stone agrees and calls for a referee. A referee runs down, and the match starts.
NXT North American Championship Match: Myles Borne (C) vs. Ethan Page
Page and Borne brawl in their street clothes. Borne pounds on Page on the commentary desk. After the break, Borne and Page trade strikes. Brone rips off Page’s shirt and lands a dropkick. Borne tries to rip Page’s pants off. Page stuns Borne on the bottom rope. Page distracts the referee and drops Borne with a loaded right hand. Borne kicks out. Borne locks Page in an ankle lock. Page kicks Borne away, and Page’s pants come off. The referee turns, Borne hits Page with his shoe, and hits Borne Again for the win!
Winner and STILL NXT North American Champion, Myles Borne!
Grade: B
This was a lot of fun. It’s rare that we get an impromptu match like this. It totally subverted the way these segments normally go. Well done. What happens with Borne next will be interesting. There is speculation about Page moving to the main roster, but that would be a mistake. NXT needs a top heels. It can’t just be Ricky Saints. Page is it.
Glamour is Forever
Blake Monroe says she expected to feel rage for what Jaida Parker did to her last week, costing her a shot at the Speed championship. What Monroe realized is that Parker needs her. The biggest thing a woman in NXT can do is interrupt Blake Monroe. People obsess over Monroe. Monroe isn’t scared of Parker. This division revolves around Monroe. Parker is just begging for a chance and some of Monroe’s spotlight.

Parker’s music hits, and she joins Monroe in the ring. The crowd chants as Parker says she needs to slap the taste out of Monroe’s mouth. The glamour only exists because Monroe is insecure. Parker says that, throughout her life, Monroe has been playing the supporting role in every story. Parker calls Monroe soft and scared. When you take away the glamour, all you have left is a medicore b*tch! Monroe decks Parker. Parker and Monroe trade strikes. Parker sends Monroe flying out of the ring.
Grade: B-
This dragged in the middle but picked up towards the end. What is it about women calling each other b*tch that makes promos so much better?
Women’s Speed #1 Contendership Tournament | Wren Sinclair vs. Nikkita Lyons
Sinclair gets the win with five seconds left after Cattle Mutilation.
Winner- Wren Sinclair
Grade: C+
…. Speed matches… ugh.
Shiloh Hill and Hank and Tank vs. The Vanity Project
Shiloh Hill, Hank, and Tank attack The Vanity Project during their entrance. Hill and the gang get the win after Hank and Tank hit Drake with their finish. Hill follows that with a pop-up neckbreaker for the win.
Winners- Shiloh Hill, Hank, and Tank
Grade: C+
Perfectly fine six- man tag match.
Women’s NXT Championship Match | Jacy Jayne (c) w/Fatal Influence vs. Zaria
Jayne attacks Zaria as soon as the bell rings. Jayne is looking around for Sol Ruca to interfere and help her win the match. Ruca is nowhere to be found. Zaria tosses Jayne all over the ring. The fight spills out of the ring. Reid pulls Jayne out of the way of a charging Zaria, who spears the ring steps. After the break, Zaria lands a superplex, followed by a lariat.
Jayne sends Zaria into the turnbuckle. Jayne charges in and eats a knee from Zaria. German suplex by Zaria. Another suplex by Zaria. Zaria runs into a knee from Jayne! Zaria kicks out. Jayne misses the Rollins Encore, Zaria lands a Spear. Zaria sets up the F5. Jayne escapes and lands the Rolling Encore! Both women are down. Sol Ruca runs down to the ring and levels Zaria and Jayne with a double Sol Snatcher.
No Contest
Grade: B-
Good match. This writer was holding out hope that Zaria would somehow win, but it looks like we are headed towards a triple threat match at Stand and Deliver. That will be fun, but either singles match option may be more interesting with the distraction of the third person.
Ricky Saints’ Absolute Experience
Saints gets booed as Saints starts singing a song about believing in Ricky. Saints sounds terrible. Rhyming the words shirt and hurt came to him last night in a dream. Saints keep demanding his stagehand change this and that. Saints sings “Don’t believe in Joe Hendry” and after hitting an off note, demands a new guitar. The stage hands give him one… by hitting him over the head with it. It’s Joe Hendry! Hendry beats down Saints. The Vanity Project hits the ring and works over Hendry. Myles Borne makes the save.
