Street Fighter Behind-The-Scenes Clip Shares New Look At Cody Rhodes as Guile

A new behind-the-scenes clip shows a closer look at WWE’s Cody Rhodes as Guile in the upcoming Street Fighter movie.

Directed by Kitao Sakurai, the upcoming Street Fighter reboot wrapped up production in November 2025. Noah Centineo and Andrew Koji portray the main characters, Ken and Ryu, while an ensemble cast includes WWE Superstars Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns as Guile and Akuma.

After the first look reveal and later updates in December 2025 and January 2026, Capcom’s official Street Fighter account on X/Twitter has now shared a new promotional video. It features Street Fighter game director Takayuki Nakayama visiting the set to ensure the fight choreography, costumes, and other aspects honor the game’s legacy.

The new behind-the-scenes clip shows a closer look at Cody Rhodes as Guile, and the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion also played Street Fighter 6 with Takayuki Nakayama. Dressed in character, sporting the signature flat-top haircut, Rhodes faced off against the Capcom veteran, but ended up getting outplayed.

“Here’s the guy who brought us the modern Street Fighter, and he wants to play. But it’s definitely no fair. He knows things,” Rhodes said in the video.

Cody Rhodes also reacted to the moment on his X/Twitter, saying, “@takaNakayama squashed me, no mercy.”

While fans had mixed reactions after seeing Cody Rhodes’ first look as Guile, it will be interesting to see if the American Nightmare can change their opinions with his performance. The movie will hit the screens on October 16, 2026.
