Dominik Mysterio will do whatever it takes to get his Intercontinental Championship back. He’s even willing to wager his hair.
Penta beat Mysterio for the title on the March 2, 2026, episode of Raw in Indianapolis. Mysterio is still the AAA Mega Champion, but he also wants to be a double champion, and would even put his hair and mustache on the line to get another title match.
“I want my IC Championship back; I don’t care what I have to do,” Mysterio told Reality of Wrestling’s Brad Gilmore on The Collection. “I know Penta’s an ugly, ugly dude, so I’m willing to put my hair up on the line against his mask and that IC Championship, if he’s more than willing to. Hell, I’ll even put up my mustache, whatever it takes to get my IC title back.
“Because at the end of the day, I beat this dude probably 7 or 8 times already. He got lucky on this last one because of Finn Balor’s dumb ass,” Dominik added. “But anyway—I would like to walk in as a double champ—or walk out as double champ—at WrestleMania.”
Finn Balor blamed Danhausen’s curse for Dominik’s title loss. Whether that’s true or not, Balor was ultimately kicked out of the Judgment Day on Monday’s episode of RAW.
Penta has continued to celebrate his win and already has a successful first title defense, picking up a win over El Grande Americano on RAW. He also continued to voice his issues with Dominik Mysterio, calling the former champion a “fake Mexican.”
