Candice Michelle is crossing the line with TNA.
TNA announced they have officially signed former WWE Diva and WWE Women’s Champion Candice Michelle.
Michelle has been working with TNA in a backstage capacity for the past few months, and TNA finally made the news public on Friday.
“It feels so good to be ‘home’ with wrestling, and I’m just loyal. I’ve been loyal with Tommy for 20 years, loyal to the business, and I didn’t know that this could come back. So, to give me a platform so I can help build this with you guys and be a small piece of that and see where I can fit in there on any angle, it’s really just a dream come true.”
Michelle said Tommy Dreamer called her on December 26 with an opportunity to come back and help behind the scenes.
Michelle was seen in the crowd on the live debut of Thursday Night iMPACT on AMC. She was also promoting TNA’s live events in New Mexico in January. However, TNA did not confirm her specific role with the company.
It’s not expected that Candice will wrestle and will only work in a backstage capacity. Her last match was a 2017 match for Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore promotion.
