MJF addressed the fallout from AEW Revolution 2026 in a newly released backstage video on March 18, offering insight into his mindset just after a grueling title defense — though his closing remarks took an unexpected turn.
The footage, labeled “Last Sunday after AEW Dynamite,” shows the AEW World Champion battered and bloodied, sitting against a plain wall with the title in hand.
Still, despite the visible damage, MJF wasted no time reminding viewers why he continues to sit at the top of the card.
MJF declares next move after AEW Revolution Texas Death Match win
MJF’s promo directly followed his Texas Death Match victory over “Hangman” Adam Page on March 15.
The bout ended when MJF choked Page out with a chain over the top rope, leaving him unable to answer the referee’s 10-count. It wasn’t just a win — it was a statement, as MJF leaned into the brutality, even referencing his use of a syringe during the match to underline how far he’s willing to go.
Throughout the video, MJF clutched the AEW World Championship, gesturing emphatically and repeatedly calling himself the “Best in the World.” He also claimed that Page was no longer a factor in the title picture, effectively closing the book on their rivalry — or at least locking it in a steel vault.
The tone stayed intense, with MJF pointing directly into the camera and leaning closer as the promo progressed. In a fittingly theatrical finish, he called over the cameraman and instructed him to ask the obvious question about his next move.
That’s when MJF pivoted. After everything — the violence, the declarations, the dominance — he answered simply: “I am going to Disney World.” He then leaned in and kissed the camera, cutting the video in a moment that felt equal parts victory lap and mic drop.
With challengers like Brody King circling and the title picture evolving, MJF’s reign continues to move forward — whether he’s in the ring or, apparently, heading to the happiest place on earth.
