The March 24, 2026, episode of WWE NXT ended in chaos as the NXT Championship picture looked out of control. What started as a one-on-one match turned into a mess, leading Interim General Manager Robert Stone to make a big decision. NXT Champion Joe Hendry will now defend his title in a Fatal 4-Way match at Stand & Deliver against Ricky Saints, Ethan Page, and Tony D’Angelo.
This week’s main event featured Ricky Saints vs Tony D’Angelo. D’Angelo used his power early, throwing Saints around and using submission moves. Saints stayed in the fight with his speed and offense, even hurting D’Angelo’s shoulder by sending him into the steel steps.
The match kept going back and forth. D’Angelo hit suplexes, while Saints responded with moves like a jumping neckbreaker and a shotgun dropkick.
However, the match took a different turn after Ethan Page’s interference. He attacked D’Angelo from behind, which caused the referee to stop the match and give D’Angelo the win by disqualification.
But the chaos didn’t stop there.
Ricky Saints, Ethan Page, Tony D’Angelo, and Joe Hendry set for title match
After the match, Page and Saints teamed up to attack D’Angelo. That’s when Joe Hendry ran in to help. The champion cleared the ring, forcing Page and Saints to back off. Even then, things stayed tense, as Hendry and D’Angelo had a brief stare-down, showing there is still tension between them.
The final scene of the show summed it all up. Saints and Page were fighting over the NXT Championship belt, while Hendry and D’Angelo watched. It showed that all four men want the title now.
Backstage, Robert Stone was interviewed, where he made the Fatal 4-Way match official for Stand & Deliver on April 4. He also announced a contract signing for all four wrestlers on the March 31 episode of NXT at Madison Square Garden.
This match has a lot going on. Saints and Page are working together, but they don’t fully trust each other. D’Angelo has fought his way back into the title picture. Meanwhile, Hendry is dealing with constant attacks as champion and faces a mammoth challenge at Stand & Deliver.
