Sol Ruca vs. Zaria finally came to a brutal end on the April 21 episode of WWE NXT during the Revenge special. In the Last Woman Standing main event, Zaria took advantage of Ruca’s trust again, and this time, she got the finish in her favor.
Before the match, things were already heated. Ruca had just made her WWE RAW debut after WrestleMania and faced Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship. But Zaria attacked her at the end, costing her the match.
Zaria betrays Sol Ruca in the Last Woman Standing finish on WWE NXT
Now, in NXT, with no rules in place, both women went all out. There were multiple “Holy shit” moments and “This is awesome” chants from the NXT crowd.
Ruca started showing her athletic skills early in the match, but Zaria fought back with her aggression and power. Weapons like trash cans and kendo sticks came into play. Zaria even used a cable to choke Ruca.
But Ruca didn’t back down. She hit Zaria with kendo sticks and slammed her hard onto the mat. The fight moved all around the ringside area. One big moment came when Ruca speared Zaria through the wall, leaving both of them down.
Soon after, things got even more intense. Zaria hit an F-5 off the barricade, sending Ruca through the announce table. Somehow, Ruca got back up and responded with a German suplex and a running knee strike.
Toward the end, Ruca set up two tables and placed Zaria on them. She climbed up to the balcony, ready to finish the match. But suddenly, Zaria disappeared.
A few moments later, she came back from behind, and the two fought on top of the structure. Ruca even hit a Sol Snatcher from up there, which looked like it could end the match.
But then came the twist.
Both women traded some blows, and as Zaria was about to fall, Ruca tried to save her. In that moment, treasured memories their past friendship came back, and they shared an emotional hug.
But it was a trick.
Zaria suddenly pushed Ruca off the platform, sending her crashing through the tables below. Ruca couldn’t get back up before the ten-count, and Zaria won.
The match was not just violent; it also ended their very personal feud. Their rivalry was built on jealousy and broken trust. Ruca believed she was always loyal, while Zaria felt used and hurt.
In the end, Zaria walked away as the winner.
