Following his recent arrest, AAA has added an appearance by El Grande Americano (WWE’s Ludwig Kaiser) to its upcoming event.
AAA cancelled its Serenata Para: El Grande Americano event, which was scheduled for May 21, following Ludwig Kaiser’s arrest on a misdemeanor battery charge on May 20. Now, the promotion has rescheduled the show for later tonight after Kaiser filed a motion in the court to allow him to travel outside Florida and internationally for his wrestling commitments.
Following the original filing, Kaiser’s new supplementary motion stated that the Assistant State Attorney has no objection to his international travel request and requested that the court enter an order to allow him to travel for his wrestling appearances.
The event will take place at Domo Kings League in Mexico City tonight at 7 PM local time. The show takes place ahead of Ludwig Kaiser’s Mask vs. Mask match against Chad Gable’s Original El Grande Americano at the Noche de Los Grandes event on May 31.
Along with the international travel request, Ludwig Kaiser has also submitted a written plea of not guilty in his motion. He maintained his innocence, requested a trial, and expressed his intent to participate in the discovery process and to appear for all required court proceedings related to the allegations.
