Alleged Victim in Ludwig Kaiser Court Case Obtains a Lawyer

The alleged victim in Ludwig Kaiser‘s court case has reportedly secured the services of a lawyer.

In May, WWE star Ludwig Kaiser made headlines after reportedly turning himself in following an alleged scuffle at his Florida home. Authorities at Orange County Corrections later released him on a $1,000 bond, which was reportedly paid by Gunther.

According to one version of the altercation, Kaiser (whose real name is Marcel Barthel) became intimate with his girlfriend, Andrea Bazarte, inside a 12th-floor elevator. This prompted the complainant, Richard Reap, to tell them, “Please have some manners.”

Another version of the incident, reported by Wrestling Inc. founder Raj Giri, indicated that Reap was allegedly quiet during the elevator ride. However, once he exited on the 12th floor, he reportedly directed comments about ICE at Kaiser and Bazarte. Kaiser and Reap then allegedly became involved in a “scuffle,” though no punches were thrown. However, this version of the story was later disputed.

Court records from the Orange County Clerk show that Reap has retained attorney Darrin Chambers to represent him in the Ludwig Kaiser case. Kaiser, meanwhile, is being represented by Thomas Sommerville in the battery case. A hearing is scheduled for July 16.

Despite the controversy surrounding the case, Kaiser received a warm reception from fans when he appeared in Mexico shortly after news of his arrest became public. The WWE star appeared emotional as the crowd showed its support. He would go on to defeat the original El Grande Americano, Chad Gable, in a Mask vs. Mask match at the May 30 AAA event.

As for Gable, he most recently appeared on RAW in Paris, France, as part of an angle involving Rey Mysterio, Penta, and Dragon Lee.
