WWE Hall of Famer and TNA co-founder Jeff Jarrett peels back the curtain on his wife’s reaction to Dark Side of the Ring filming.
Next month, Season 7 of Dark Side of The Ring will kick off with a three-part deep dive special into TNA Wrestling and its co-founder Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett himself has already confirmed his involvement in the project, as have former TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardy Boyz.
On the recent episode of My World with Jeff Jarrett, Jeff Jarrett noted that his wife, Karen Jarrett, also took part in the TV special through a series of extensive interviews. The result? An understandably emotional response.
“They interviewed me here at the house, and they didn’t want to interview Karen here. They were they said, ‘Let’s go to another setting.’ So she went downtown to the studio. Extreme expenses on flying all over the country and interviews and all that. Karen walked through back when she got home and I just happened to be at the stove cooking. I remember turning around she came in and she just said, ‘I’m effing exhausted,'” Jeff recalled. “Like, ‘Oh, wow.’ She’s just like ‘Having to relive parts of that is insanely emotional.’ That wasn’t easy for her to do. There were some real rough spots on this, but all in all, I’m excited about it.”
Jeff Jarrett Is ‘Grateful’ For DSOTR Opportunity
Other names expected to be featured in the TNA-themed Dark Side of The Ring special include Jim Cornette and Vince Russo. Former TNA President Dixie Carter, on the other hand, reportedly turned down multiple interview requests for the series.
“There’s a lot of folks that are featured on Dark Side that either aren’t here to talk about it or they’re not alive or they maybe wouldn’t want to comment on it,” Jeff added. “All my valleys have brought me to mountain top. I mean this, ain’t just no bulls***, I feel incredibly grateful that I have the opportunity just to sit here and talk to you about it.”
