Danhausen is all about the (human) money, so much so that WWE has now filed a new trademark application for it.
Per the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), WWE has filed to trademark “human monies,” a phrase regularly used by Danhausen when negotiating potential curse deals. The application, submitted on June 16, revealed WWE’s intention to trademark the phrase specifically in relation to clothing items.
“Clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, clothing ties, scarves, gloves, swimwear; Halloween and masquerade costumes; footwear, namely, shoes, sneakers, slippers, flip flops, boots; headwear, namely, hats, caps; wrist bands; bandanas; championship trophy belts,” it read.
As of this writing, the filing is pending as it awaits an assignment to an examining attorney. Should it be approved, it seems that fans may then see “human monies” featured on new merchandise across WWE Shop.
Since arriving to WWE in February, Danhausen has “cursed” and “uncursed” a number of people, ranging from his colleagues to the New York Knicks to ESPN host Stephen A. Smith. In some cases, he’s cast a spell after being given a certain amount of “human monies.” For the right price, he’s also reversed certain curses. As seen in a Raw exclusive video this week, “the very nice, very evil” star has even just taken cash for himself at points, with no magic involved.
