TNA Wrestling Announces First-Ever Knockouts Television Championship Tournament

The TNA Knockouts will have another championship to fight for.

Fightful Select recently reported that a new women’s championship had been pitched in the company. Details were limited, but sources claimed that it would be a women’s midcard title.

TNA confirmed the report by revealing the new TNA Knockouts Television Championship at Slammiversary on Sunday night. TNA Hall of Famer Traci Brooks came to the stage after Elayna Black defeated Indi Hartwell and Mara Sade on the Countdown to Slammiversary pre-show. Brooks spoke about the history of the Knockouts division, claiming TNA’s women’s division started the women’s wrestling revolution.

Brooks then announced a 16-woman tournament that will start on Thursday’s episode of Impact. The winner will become the first-ever TNA Knockouts Television Champion, a title that will be exclusively defended on Impact TV.

TNA referee Paige Prinzivalli then brought the title out to the stage to show fans what the new title looks like. The Knockouts TV title features purple, silver and black-themed plates on a black leather strap.

The TNA Knockouts Television Championship tournament will kick off in Albany, New York, and will continue at the company’s tapings in Philadelphia.

This is the first women’s championship to be added to TNA since the company resurrected the Knockouts Tag Team Championship in 2021. This is also the newest title in TNA since the International Championship debuted in March 2025. The International title replaced the Digital Media Championship, which was retired.
