Logan Paul says he pitched a WWE match with Conor McGregor.
WWE’s Logan Paul recently had former UFC Bantamweight Champion Sean O’Malley as a guest on his IMPAULSIVE podcast. During the conversation, they addressed Conor McGregor’s MMA return and shocking loss to Max Holloway at UFC 329 earlier this month.
Logan Paul took a jab at Conor McGregor, saying he’s incapable of fighting in the octagon anymore. He also referred to McGregor recently taking a shot at Roman Reigns, and noted that he sees the Irish fighter shifting into WWE after his recent loss.
“The Roman Reigns tweet was recent. But bro, at the moment, Conor is doing WWE. Because he is incapable of fighting, which, by the way, dude, also appreciate what Conor McGregor did to the sport, UFC, boxing, and MMA. He pioneered in a lot of ways, but he has a lot of people fooled, and he fooled everyone before this fight, just like Mike Tyson fooled everyone before he fought my brother,” Logan Paul said. “I went, ‘Bro, y’all are- there’s no way, bro. Like, age matters.’
Logan Paul pitched for a WWE match with Conor McGregor
Speaking further, Logan Paul also revealed that he pitched to one of his bosses in WWE to book a match between him and Conor McGregor after the latter’s recent loss.
“I don’t think that WWE will let me fight anyone. I mean, I’ll be honest with you. I texted my boss after Conor lost. I was like, ‘Bro, Conor’s cooked. Like, do something. Do something with it.’ Like, make a bag. Let me fight him. Big WWE star vs. big WWE star, because that’s what he is now.’ No, he said he thinks he’s done,” Paul said.
However, Sean O’Malley told Logan Paul that he believes Conor McGregor will return down the line.
