Following the TV tapings the last two nights in Orlando, TNA Wrestling will hit the road starting tonight in Belton, Texas for a four-date tour. Here is how the schedule looks: House Show in Belton, TX tonight, January 9, House Show in Austin, TX on Thursday, January 10, House Show in Dallas, TX on Friday, January 11, and a House Show in Oklahoma City, OK on Saturday, January 12. It should be noted that TNA is hoping to draw a good crowd at the Dallas event on Thursday considering that is the homebase for Panda Energy and The Carter Family.
Chris passed on a story at prlog.org noting that a new book will be released titled “TNA Wrestling Fanthology: 2002-2007” on February 1, 2008. It will not be sold in bookstores and will be sold exclusively online. It is not affiliated with TNA Wrestling and is written by Chris Duncan.
The description for the book reads: “After five years of growth and expansion, TNA has silenced its critics and established itself as a leader within the professional wrestling industry. To celebrate TNAâs first five years of existence, wrestling historian Chris Duncan has compiled the first book ever written about TNA’s fascinating history.”
PPV carrier “iN Demand” has released the official promotional poster and synopsis for TNA Wrestling’s next PPV event, Against All Odds: “Razor sharp edges ready to rip, tear, and feed on flesh and bone A modern day torture chamber⦠Barbed wire massacre two! Every man’s nightmare⦠A masochists dream Let the bloodbath begin… The poster features Abyss’ mask with barbed wire all over it. Under the “Against All Odds” logo is the phrase “BARB-WIRED!!!”.
