After a series of tackles, dropdowns, and pinfalls Edwards and Marufuji both try a dropkick at the same time. We have an early stalemate. After a time jump, Edwards hits a blue thunder bomb. Edwards charges at Marufuji but Marufuji gets a boot up. Marufuji mounts the top rope but Edwards kicks Marufuji in the head. Edwards sets up the backpack stunner but Marufuji escapes. Edwards tries to German suplex but Marufuji lands on his feet. Marufuji tries a German suplex but Edwards lands on his feet. Superkick by Marufuji. Marufuji side suplexes Edwards. Edwards pops up and hits a back suplex of his own. Edwards floors Marufuji with a lariat. Marufuji goes for a springboard but Edwards kicks Marufuji’s legs out from under him. Marufuji tries to power piledrive Edwards. Edwards counters and crotches Marufuji on the barricade. Edwards suicide dives onto Marufuji. After another time jump, Marufuji piledrives Edwards on the apron. Marufuji pulls Edwards up top and hits a Spanish fly. Edwards kicks out. After this last time skip, Edwards hurricanranas Marufuji off the top. Edwards hits the Boston Knee party. Marufuji kicks out. Sit out tiger bomb by Edwards for another near fall.
