Seth Rollins is looking forward to seeing how things play out in Montreal.

Rollins recently spoke with Sports Guys Talking Wrestling‘s Stew Myrick and talked about what is in store at the 2023 WWE Elimination Chamber premium live event. Rollins is one of the six men that will step into the Chamber match this year, but four of those participants have never been in this specific match before. Rollins said that it will be interesting to see how that plays out, and he’d love to be United States Champion heading into WrestleMania.

“Yeah, I mean, it’s brutal. I mean, you don’t want to be one of the first two, you want to be the last pod, that increases your chances exponentially. Two guys start the match, every few minutes, a pod opens until all four pods and all six guys or girls, in this case guys, are in the ring. And then eliminations can happen at any time,” Rollins explained. “That’s the key, eliminations can happen at any point. So the longer you have to be in the match, the more grueling it is.

“And I’ve been in a few of these Elimination Chamber matches now, and this specific Elimination Chamber match, myself and Austin Theory are the only participants in this match who have had prior experience inside the Chamber. The other four guys are all newbies. So it’s going to be interesting to see what they bring to the table. I do say, having the experience is one edge and luck of the draw. If I’m in a pod, you know, for a duration of time and I can have a little extra steam when I get in there, that would be nice, too. So we’ll see man, I would love to take that United States Title off of Austin Theory and take it into WrestleMania.”

The 2023 match will mark Rollins’ fourth appearance inside the Elimination Chamber; he has not won the match in three previous tries. Theory and Rollins were both in the 2022 match, which was also Theory’s first time in the Elimination Chamber.
