Sami Zayn has set the stage for a showdown with Johnny Knoxville at WWE WrestleMania 38.
On the March 4 episode of WWE SmackDown, the “Jackass Forever” star distracted Zayn during his Intercontinental Championship match with Ricochet; in doing so, he cost “The Master Strategist” the title.
In a post-match promo, Zayn seemingly challenged Knoxville to a match at “The Showcase of the Immortals.”

Later in the show, Knoxville accepted Zayn’s challenge with a promo of his own. He made it clear that he want to show the world that Zayn is really the “Intercontinental Chump.”

Zayn and Knoxville have been engaged in a heated feud for the duration of 2022. The popular actor angered Zayn when he declared for the Royal Rumble match, and the now-former champion subsequently eliminated Knoxville from the battle royale. Zayn then crashed the red carpet premiere of “Jackass Forever”, and Knoxville has been a thorn in his side ever since.
Knoxville challenged Zayn to a match during the February 25 episode of WWE SmackDown, but “The Master Strategist” attacked him instead. Now, they’ll collide at WWE’s biggest show of the year.
