Pro Wrestling Revolution Secures Group Visa For Wrestlers in Japan

Pro Wrestling Revolution has formed a partnership with two big Japanese wrestling promotions; in doing so, the companies’ stars will be able to come to the United States.

Pro Wrestling Revolution owner Gabriel Ramirez recently sat down with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated to reveal some pretty big news in that he has acquired a “P-3 group visa for 37 pro wrestlers from Japan” with the help of Masked Republic. As a result, stars from Pro Wrestling NOAH and Dragon Gate Japan Pro-Wrestling are now able to work work with Pro Wrestling Revolution in the United States.

“We’re combining these Japanese promotions’ storied athleticism and fighting spirit with the high-flying spectacle of the Pro Wrestling Revolution roster,” Gabriel Ramirez said. “California pro wrestling fans have a lot to look forward to in 2022. We’re combining these Japanese promotions’ storied athleticism and fighting spirit with the high-flying spectacle of the Pro Wrestling Revolution roster. California pro wrestling fans have a lot to look forward to in 2022. We’re bringing the hard-hitting puroresu style of Japanese wrestling to Pro Wrestling Revolution.

“It’s a chance to combine lucha libre and puroresu, two styles which have been closely associated over the years. Now, we’re bringing this Mexico-Japan wrestling connection to the States. We look forward to what this is going to bring to pro wrestling in America and Japan. This will also allow NOAH and Dragon Gate to run full-fledged shows here. With next year’s WrestleMania in California, we are exploring holding a big event, almost like WrestleCon, but it will be PuroresuCon. Moving forward, there is limitless potential.”

Pro Wrestling Revolution’s first show that will feature talents from Japan that take advantage of this group visa will occur in November for the promotion’s “King of the Indies” tournament. If this event is successful, it could create a massive change for independent wrestling going forward.
